Ode Osbourne didn’t have the easiest time at Luis Gurule on Saturday.
But in the blink of an eye, Penny fell and he knew Gallur was in the cage with a double-digit UFC fight veteran. Osborne (13-8 MMA, 5-6 UFC) drilled Gurule (10-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with his perfect left hand that literally saw a UFC rookie flying out of his foot. There were some punches on the canvas later, and Osborn had what could have been one of the signature victories of his career.
Osborne’s Grull halt, which was a favorite of over 2-1, came at the 1:54 mark in the middle frame of the flyweight match at the UFC top in Las Vegas.
