BJ Penn is on a dark road.
For UFC fans, it has been painful to see one of the MMA’s biggest fighters in and out of the cage in and out of the cage in the last 15 years. The sad end of Penn’s professional career is now insignificant compared to the nasty private life of the 46-year-old, seeing him win in his final eight fights.
Over the past week, Penn has been arrested twice, not once, and his own mother has had to file a restraining order, barring him from being within 100 feet of him. If Penn’s report of mental decline is true, then he creates some ominous social media posts accusing his family of being “con artists,” this is a creative figure in the UFC’s prominent rise from a truly surprising bounty for a fan-favorite fighter.
Most of the time there was a wide range of support shows from the MMA community. Many of them hope that Penn will get help.
