Chelsea attacker Christopher Nukank has linked his move away from the club at the end of the season.
According to Sky Sports German journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 27-year-old is currently making decisions about his future at the London Club. The player wants to leave the club in the summer, and discussions are underway between the player and Londoners.
Chelsea should get rid of the performance degradation
Nkunku has not been able to meet expectations since his move to Chelsea, and a fresh start is ideal for him. The player has 14 goals and five assists in his name this season. He was able to prove to be a quality acquisition for most teams.
He is considered one of the best attackers in European football during his time in the Bundesliga and is about to return to that level.
Players have recently been linked to travelling to Liverpool. It would be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer to sign him in the summer. He is also linked to Tottenham.
The player earns £195,000 a week at Chelsea, and Bruce is relieved to withdraw his wages from his books in the summer. They cannot afford to hold high-revenue underperformers. As France’s international progresses, they will bring about upgrades. It’s not yet known where he will end.
Christopher Nukank is still a quality player
He has no doubt technical attributes to compete at a high level, but he needs to regain his shape and confidence. He should consider joining a club that gets regular first team action. Joining the club with an offensive philosophy is also ideal for him.
It is still unclear whether Chelsea can regain a worthy sum for him.
