The NAC is the only one of three that appears in the Tokyo series. The right-hander made one appearance in the second game of the series on Wednesday, pitching two shutout innings. He allowed only one hit while hitting three.
Sauer was added to the active roster before Wednesday’s match. However, he was not to appear in a 6-3 victory.
Outman was on the active roster of both games in the Tokyo Series, but did not appear.
Currently, all three players will resume their regular season with Triple A. The had 14 position players on the Japanese roster, so no one would replace Outman.
As for pitchers, the will need to add starting pitchers Tyler Glasnow, Blakesnell and Dustin May to the 26-man roster. Now they have room for all three.
The are scheduled to return to Los Angeles and will play a three-game highway series with the Los Angeles Angels from March 23-25th.
After that, the first day in the country will be playing against the Detroit Tigers on March 27th.
