Orlando Magic Star Franz Wagner is currently with Team Germany and is preparing for the Eurobasket 2025.
With tournaments taking place during the offseason, it’s a great opportunity for fans to measure player progress.
There are several NBA stars who will take part in Eurobasket 2025, including Orlando Magic Star Franz Wagner.
After the Breakout 2024-25 campaign, Wagner bowed his head and promised to add more skills to Arsenal.
Among them, the 3-point shot appears to have been improved as the clip from Wagner’s deep went viral with X.
I wasn’t excited to see the smooth bucket from X’s deep magic fans.
“It looked really good. I hope his C&S mechanic looks the same,” one fan wrote. Another thing was added, “Oh, my good.”
“If he figured it out, 30 ppg,” a third fan announced.
“It definitely looks much better, there’s no hitch,” the fourth fan said proudly.
“Bro, if Franz gets lifted up like next season, it’s wrapped up… the league isn’t ready,” the fans warned.
“He’s moving,” the sixth fan wrote on X.
The 24-year-old doesn’t seem to be giving up on the role anytime soon as Wagner has emerged as the second option behind Paolo Banchelo last season.
As mentioned earlier, Wagner surged to magical star status during the 2024-25 NBA season.
This was mainly due to a season average of 24.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game that exceeds the team’s 60 matchups.
The Magic Forward numbers were decent, but the same cannot be said for his three-point shooting. After all, Wagner shot just 29.5% from the Deep.
This marked Wagner’s second straight season, filming under 30% from the three-point line. However, after seeing Wagner’s new viral three-point shot, fans should expect a more efficient season from Deep.
