The LA Lakers are potentially explosively attacked, but in the last two games they were unable to catch up with their younger, fast opponents.

The Orlando Magic became the latest team to beat the La Lakers following a huge victory for the Chicago Bulls in the previous game.

There’s a lot to do with Lakers’ director JJ Redick reevaluating.

Most of the Lakers’ issues appear to be on defense after allowing 146 points against the Bulls.

They allowed 118 against the magic, in this case they were unable to maintain scoring and managed 106.

Luka Doncic scored 32 points in the La Lakers victory, but that wasn’t enough. The team’s offense failed to catch up with the home team.

This may have been partly due to LeBron James still taking another shot for his return.

Analyst Chris Brussard has a slightly different view. He believes the way Orlando’s magic defended Luka Donsic had an impact.

Brussard pointed out that the magic keeps Donsic in one coverage and attempts to block any passing lanes.

He still managed seven assists, but Donsic has already shown what he could do if he was given space, earning 14 assists vs Spurs and 15 against the Pelicans.

Broussard said something first.

“I’m not doubled. He might take 50 shots. Don’t double him.

“If you double him, he’s going to get 30, whether or not he doubles him, because he’s giving up Rob and he’s kicking out and getting an open look.

Usually there was no big point splash for Jackson Hayes at the end of Donsic’s lob. He only had four points.

Doncic is used for single coverage. It creates more opportunities for him to go to the basket and go to dangerous areas of paint.

As a 5x All-NBA player, Doncic has seen it all. And he beat it all.

Faced with the Lakers is particularly the case of LeBron James and Austin Reeves “choose your poison” in which they share the same court.

The more specific coverage types Doncic sees, the easier it will be for him to overcome. He is one of the most intelligent players in basketball.

Together with LeBron James, the pair formed a dynamic pairing. Doncic admits that the Lakers have become a little more comfortable with their recent games and are now being paid.
