Pakistan plays 11 vs West Indies – 2nd T20I, Pakistan Tour West Indies 2025:
Openers: Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan
Pakistan will be pleased with the way it played in the first match of three matches in the ongoing T20I series and will want to recreate it in upcoming games and register a much-needed series victory.
The Green Men ticked the majority of boxes in all three divisions of the game. Two of the top three batters led the team to a good start.

The momentum the team gained during batting was also brought in in Pakistan’s bowling innings, with the bowlers keeping things firmly in place throughout the two innings.
Visitors will take part in the second match with the same play XI where they played the first match, opening innings with Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan thanks to full team effort.
The duo have shown signs of attacking from the first ball as a partnership, but have yet to get the team to a good start as a pair.
That being said, both batters have individually sparkling moments with the bat and want to put together their form as a partnership for the next game.
Intermediate batters and all-arounds: Fakar Zaman, Mohammad Harris (WK), Salman Aga (C), Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Fehem Ashraf
The Green man is relieved to see senior batter Fakarzaman’s performance in his first T20I against the West Indies. The left-hander played in his usual offensive way while batting at No. 3.
Zaman formed a key partnership for the second wicket with Ayub, providing much needed driving force for Pakistan’s innings with the new central over.
Team managers hope that the batters will achieve another solid performance.
The only thing they are wary of is the team’s performance in the final five overs. This could have pushed the score up to 185-190 at the first T20I.
Bowlers: Shahen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Sufiyan Muqeem
Like batting, the team’s bowling put pressure on the opposition batters by leading the A game to the forefront in the first T20I, not allowing them to play with freedom during the pursuit.
It was a collective effort from the bowling department. The bowling department saw the return of Shaheen Afridi, who bowled economically and made it easy for the central over bowler.
Afridi was well supported by Mohammad Nawaz, the Pakistani bowler pick in the first match.
Nawaz’s spin bowling partner Sufiyan Mukien also gave only 20 runs in four overs and picked up the wicket.
The only cause of concern for visitors heading towards the second T20I is the shape of Harrislauf
Fast Bowler passed 41 runs in 41 overs in the first match and looked like he had a much better outing in his second match.
