Pakistan plays 11 vs West Indies – 3rd T20I, Pakistan Tour of West Indies 2025:

Openers: Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan

Pakistan wants to make a strong comeback in the series in the final game, losing its second T20I with the West Indies at a close margin at the final ball of the match.

One of the main reasons Pakistan lost in his final match was a failure in the batting division. Because after the team got off to a poor start on power play, they never extended the innings.

Something like Fakar Zaman, one of the team’s senior batters, was fired after scoring 20 runs from 19 balls, followed by Hasan Nawaz and Captain Salman Ali Aga.

Nawaz and Aga scored 40 and 38 runs respectively, but came out at a key moment in the game.

Pakistani management hopes this is a one-off batting breakdown and not a decision maker.

All is expected to open up batting with Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan, as visitors will take the bank to the bank with the same batting combination, which will be good in the upcoming matches.

The duo aims to lead the team to an aggressive start and put pressure on opposition bowlers.

Having won half a century in the series opener, Ayub wants to get things back on track and play match-winning knocks so that teams can register key series wins.

His opening partner, Sahibzada Farhan, was also hoping for the same after failing to score a run in the first two matches.

Intermediate batters and all-arounds: Fakar Zaman, Mohammad Harris (WK), Salman Aga (C), Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Fehem Ashraf

The Salman Ali Aga-led side wanted a significantly improved performance from the middle batter compared to how they hit in the previous match.

The trio of Fakhar Zaman, Salman Agha and Hasan Nawaz need to lead the team to a PAR or higher total while hitting first, leading the team evenly.

The batter also seeks good support from all-arounders Mohammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf.

Despite the disappointment of previous matches, the men on Green stand up to themselves to win the match as they have a batting lineup of information.

Bowlers: Shahen Afridi, Hasan Ali, Sufiyan Muqeem

As far as bowling performance goes, it was like chalk and cheese compared to the team’s efforts with the second bat of the three T20Is.

It was the spinners that dealt most of the damage and helped visitors almost pull away from their memorable victory in the West Indies.

The trio of Mohammd Nawaz, Sufiyan Muqeem and Saim Ayub picked up seven of the eight West Indian wickets, making things difficult for the batters.

Spinner did his best to defend eight runs on the final ball, but he was not much supported by any of the fast bowlers, except for Shaheen Afridi, who was unable to prevent the boundary of the final ball.

That being said, Pakistan will trust the bowlers to get the job done in the final match of the series.
