All Orlando’s magic is set to cause some kind of fuss at the Eastern Conference during the 2025-26 NBA season.
The biggest reason behind the highly acclaimed Orlando Magic at the Eastern Conference is undoubtedly the presence of the Paolo Bancello.
The Bunchelo had a breakout year last season and is now considered among the top stars of the conference. But there’s another reason Magic Nation is excited for next season.
That’s because Desmond Bain from the Memphis Grizzlies arrived.
The Bain to Magic Trade essentially began the offseason as it was the first big move this summer.
Banchelo recently recalled the moment when trade became official during an interview with Athletic.
“I didn’t believe it. I felt like there were people in my head, at least on the list of who we were going to trade for.
Considering the fact that Bane spent his entire career with the Grizzlies, he didn’t even think he would be traded. After all, it’s rare to see a team trade a 17.8 PPG sniper in the middle of his prime.

Banchelo didn’t complete as he continued to praise his new teammates and named what he liked most about Bane.
“When I heard that, I was like, ‘Desmond Bain!’ I was like, “s___, he’s the player hell.” Banchelo continued.
“Obviously he was in the west, so we didn’t play him much, but every time we played Memphis he gave us that.
“And I liked his whole attitude and how he played and shot three,” Banchelo concluded.
It appears that the magic hit the jackpot in their trade as Bane is already beginning to lead the team and prepare for the 2025-26 NBA season.
