Patrick Beverly compared the newest New York Knicks player to NBA veterans Georges Nian and Grant Williams.
The New York Knicks have made major changes in the offseason, including firing head coach Tom Thibodeau.
After a month of search, they appointed Mike Brown as their successor. It gave hope to many Knicks fans.
The team also made major moves in free agency, signing players such as Jordan Clarkson and Gershon Yabucele.
Patrick Beverly previously pointed out how important Clarkson is to the Knicks, and he still gives his opinion on Yabsle.
Yabusele spent one season with the Philadelphia 76ers before moving to the New York Knicks. He was one of their most memorable players.
He averaged 11 points per game, grabbed 5.6 rebounds and shot 50% off the field.
Yabusele was not satisfied with the 76ers contract offer and moved to the Knicks.
Beverly compared Jabcele to Nian and Grant Williams.

“Yabcele will help. I think he has a role. He gave me Grant Williams, Georges Nian Vibe,” added Beverly. “It’s probably a little more athletic than they do. He’s helping them with the second unit. He’s also the captain of the French national team and has a bit of respect for his name.”
All defensive team members in the three times were asked if the Knicks had it to make it past the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Knicks had many question marks last season. Because they were unable to secure a victory against a team that was higher in the rankings.
But they answered all the critics with great performances in the playoffs. They reached the Eastern Conference Finals, but struggled against the Indiana Pacers.
Jalen Brunson relies heavily on his team, averaging 29.4 points per game, with Karl-Anthony Towns averaging 21.4 points and Mikal Bridges averaging 15.6 in the postseason.
These may seem decent to the trio, but consistency was a matter of town and bridges.
| Knicks Bench Options are wise | Player |
| Point Guard | Jordan Clarkson |
| Shooting Guard | Miles McBride |
| A small front | Tyler Collection |
| Power Forward | Guerschon Yabusele |
| center | Mitchell Robinson |
Branson did well, but the other players were unable to step up to strength in the round after the playoffs.
With the addition of Yabusele and Clarkson, the Knicks are basically strengthened their bench as they can do an incredible job of contributing their bench contributions to the next level.
With players like Miles McBride, Tyler Coleck and Mitchell Robinson, the Knicks already have a strong bench. However, the Clarkson and Yabsel duo raise the roster and once the Knicks get deeper into the playoffs, these two could prove to be their differences.
