JJ Redick is under attack for his decisions and actions in the LA Lakers series defeat to Minnesota.
An upset JJ Reddick left the LA Lakers playoff exit and showed how nervous he was before the game.
Brian Windhorst blasted his attitude, pointing out that he “have to settle down” before Game 5, and the final Lakers were defeated at the exit of the 4-1 series.
His coaching decision was attacked due to his lack of rotation and commitment to a small ball lineup, despite his extremely limited options.
Former LA Lakers player Patrick Beverly plays under JJ Reddick’s predecessor Durbin Ham and refuses to join Pyle-On.
Beverley posted to X that he believes that JJ Redick as a whole did a “great job” in his first season as an NBA head coach and that he thinks bigger photos should be considered.
He wrote:
Another former NBA player, Chandler Parsons, spoke to him to do it and said he could understand why JJ Redick leaned against his way.
He also pointed to Reddick’s experienced coaching staff, noting that the Lakers’ approach was a calculated decision.
“Crazy things are small and you’re doing your best? Surely he did a simple spin and switch when Rudy began to dominate like that?
“He has ample experience on that bench so I can’t blame him for his lack of experience.”
Former Clippers star Lou Williams claimed he felt criticism of JJ Reddick, the excellent coaching job that he oversaw the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He states:
“He forced Rudy Goat into a position that was the dominant factor and tried to make adjustments on the spot with JJ Reddick.”
Gortbert scored 27 points and 24 rebounds. Louis Hachimura lamented the fact that the Lakers “no one there” to get the rebound.
Redick handed out the Lakers debut to a fresh, healthy Maxi Clever. This was a strange and desperate decision, with the Germans playing in a matchup for five minutes.
Williams pointed out that this is a sign of a good Timberwolves game plan. After refusing to return to Jackson Hayes, the Lakers pointed out that they had to try all the options.
“He had to try things out, he had to look at the guy who hadn’t had the chance to put it on the floor.
“But when Rudy Gobert was dominant and you gave up on one guy, you could try something else. That’s more trust than the slightest one for the Minnesota Timberwolves than the JJ Reddick.”
