The 2025 Eastern Conference Finals are finally ongoing in a Game 1 contest between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers.
Speaking of the Knicks, they reached the ECF in the second round following an astounding six-game series with the Boston Celtics.
But by eliminating the Celtics, many loyal fans, along with the Knicks, including NBA legend Paul Pierce, formed the beef.
Returning to ECF matchups, the game progressed to overtime, so the two sides were inseparable after four quarters.
In the OT, the Pacers defeated the Knicks as they registered a 138-135 Game 1 victory in the series. Following a 3-point loss, Pierce decides to write a one-word message for the Knicks of X.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, the Knicks’ silver lining was a performance in the town of Jalen Branson and Karl Anthony.
After all, the dynamic duo paired 78 points for the team. But the difference was bench scoring as the Knicks were outscored 17-31 by the Pacers’ bench.
With the Celtics being eliminated in the second round, Pierce found a new favorite to win the Eastern Conference.
It’s nothing more than the Pacers as Celtics legends made a furious rumour after they went on to the ECF.
“You know everything, the Pacer is going to pop everything. Do you know everything? You know that the Pacer gets everything. I don’t want to hear it all,” Pierce said.
Many Knicks fans wrote that Pierce was angry after the Celtics elimination, but looking at Game 1 would encourage several fans to panic.
