Paul Pierce recently spoke at NBC Sports Boston about the reputation Jayson Tatum has in the league. The former Finals MVP confused why Tatum was so disliked.
Pierce believes Tatum is humble, hardworking and a true student of the game. But the rudeness he gets in the league surpasses the experience of other superstars.
“When I see Tatum on and off the court, he’s humble and he works hard. I have the opportunity to see him exercise in LA every year. He loves the game.”
“Because he is probably the most neglected superstar in our league. Motivation is always there for him.”
“Look at what they did to him at the Olympics. It always seems like it’s something that isn’t sitting well with people with Jason Tatum.

He forms half of Jalen Brown and their star tandem. This season he has put in a strong number of averaging 26.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists.
Jason Tatum always plays hard every night. No matter what, he always gives the Boston Celtics everything he does when he is in court.
