In a recent post made by former Pakistani female cricketer Sana Mir, she engaged in disagreement with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The PCB responded and described the post as inaccurate.
They also emphasized that Sana Mir should have confirmed his facts for himself before making such claims public. Former Pakistani captain and Hall of Fame Sana Mir claimed that the board proposed a schedule that was too packed for the national team.
To these allegations, the PCB responded that it was entirely their responsibility to protect not only the mental well-being of female cricketers, but also the physical well-being.

PCB officials confirmed that players from July 7 to November 2 will take part in two training camps, with a stringent schedule for multiple two-sided series and the 2025 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Sana Mir misinformation was fixed by PCB
A PCB spokesman allegedly in a social media post the former Pakistani skipper claimed that the domestic 50-over tournament will be held at the same time as the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.
However, this is a different place in opinion with the former cricketer as the PCB shares the facts with her. The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup will end on November 2nd, but the national women’s one-day tournament is scheduled to be held in Karachi from November 10th.
So it is clear that the two tournaments do not collide with each other and there is also a decent cool-off period of one week between the two events.
“The Pakistan Cricket Committee (PCB) responded to a social media post by former female cricketer Sana Mir and described it as effectively inaccurate. The board emphasized that Sana Mir should examine her facts before making public comments,” the Pakistan Cricket Committee said.
“A PCB spokesman said Sanamir claimed that the domestic 50-over tournament was “at the same time that the ODI World Cup is happening.” Board officials said the claim was effectively inaccurate as the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup takes place from September 30th to November 2nd, 2025. There will be a support period starting on November 6th, and this will be after the end of the World Cup. ”
PCB begins preparations for the upcoming World Cup
As far as preparations for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup are concerned, the PCB is also offering major updates on that.
They reportedly started a 25-day fitness and skill camp in Karachi. This includes several practice games that are played in a 50-over format. The focus will intensify into the game when the team returns from the Ireland tour on August 12th.
They also scheduled a three-match home ODI series against Proteas women, scheduled to begin on August 25th. After the series ends, they receive some rigorous training and also play warm-up games with Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka A to improve their skills ahead of the 50 Over World Cup.
Sanamir was included in the ICC Hall of Fame in 2025
The cricket character spoken here in this article is a big name for Pakistani women’s cricket. Earlier this year, Sanamir was one of seven players (five men and two women) to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.
Among several great cricket personalities like Ms Dhoni and Graeme Smith, Sana Mir became the first Pakistani female cricketer to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. She remains the inspiration for several young female cricketers from Pakistan.
