Pecco Bagnaia knows he needs help from Ducati as he can’t make “miracles” with a nasty bike.
The factory Ducati has been the most envious motorcycle in MotoGP for three years, but this season has been plagued by problems.
Back in the preseason, Bagnaia and teammate Mark Marquez didn’t like the new engine, so Ducati made the unusual decision to commit to the older version.
Marquez tames his GP25 and outperforms his MotoGP rankings, but Bagnaia’s misery is hard to see.
“In Corner 7, I crashed in an unusual way,” Bagnaia said after Silverstone.
“It’s obvious that something happened (on Sunday). A general situation? Something is not working.
“This is the first time our bikes have not been competitive.”
Pecco Bagnaia told Ducati:

Pecco Bagnaia
Bagnaia was second when the UK MotoGP was painted red and a reboot was ordered.
He changed the rear tires, resumed the backfire, causing Bugnair to crash.
He was already trying to determine the reason for his crash.
It was the worst after Le Mans got home at zero point.
However, Bagnaia claimed that his feelings at the Ducati GP25 were not worsened with Silverstone – which was as bad as ever.
“It’s not a bad thing, it’s not good. As usual, I don’t feel anything,” he said/
“We need a complete solution.
“I know it’s very fast, I know I can win every race.
“But if my feelings are still the same, I can’t do miracles.
“I need help. My team is working hard and I know that the engineers are working hard.
“But now? The emotions are far away.”
Ducati’s general manager Gigi Dall’igna yelled the rally to support the manufacturers’ troubled Bagnaia.
He is 72 points behind championship leaders and teammate Marquez in the MotoGP rankings.
At Silverstone it was the first time Marquez had experienced serious bike problems.
Bagnaia believed that Marquez “hidden” quite a problem with his performance.
