“Okay, well my whining is that you’re jumping to conclusions,” Crouch began. “We were watching the game last night and they said, ‘Yes, Alison has been on fire recently.’ ”
“Then AB left, “Who is she? Allison, who is she, and why is she on fire?”
As Peter explained the situation, the couple couldn’t contain their laughter, nor could they have an audience. The monastery questioned the goalkeeper’s name, adding to his joy.
“Who is she? Allison, what’s that name?”
Peter responded with his signature deadpan delivery:
“‘It’s Liverpool’s goalkeeper and he’s making some great saves.”
