Peter Hickman argues that he is not “bitter” after the controversy involving Michael Dunlop at 200 Northwest.

Dunlop ran with Mother’s Shikane in Saturday’s Superbike Race, but Hickman was stopped.

However, Dunlop’s first 10-second penalty was withdrawn. In other words, he won over the wrath of Hickman and Davy Todd.

Hickman then responded to a controversial decision on social media.

He teased: “Are there any controversial events going to happen at Northwest 200 this week?

“It’s not bitter, it’s just a disappointment.

“Thank you for the loading of support that most of the teams and riders have spoken to me about, and for the fire that gave me for the TT.”

Hickman proposed a post-race race on Saturday, suggesting that he might never return to the Northwest 200, and endorsed Dunlop by hinting at the rules.

However, Dunlop shrugged the case by insisting that it would not stop for safety reasons.

Before the storm settled, Dunlop had announced a new sponsor – former supporters of Hickman and Todd.

FHO Racing will be featured in the Northwest 200 at sponsors Hawk Racing and Rokit at Dunlop’s Bikes, and will continue this year through all major road races.

Hickman and Todd were scheduled to compete in the FHO race in 2025 after linking at the Macau Grand Prix in late 2025.

However, the rider suddenly split from a team that later retreated from the British Superbike Championship.

Hickman and Todd have founded their own 8ten racing team, represented in the Northwest 200.

They will again lock the corner at Dunlop on Man TT Island, which begins on May 26th.
