Isle of Man TT superstars Peter Hickman and Davey Todd have topped the entry list for this year’s Macau Grand Prix motorcycle race.
The 57th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix will be Peter Hickman’s first road race since sustaining serious injuries in a crash during the Isle of Man TT race.
The 14-time TT winner suffered numerous broken bones in a crash during qualifying week in May, but has been able to return to racing in the British Superbike Championship in recent weeks.
The defending Macau Grand Prix winner will be entered under the Zeeco BMW banner and will be partnered by 8TEN Racing teammate and co-owner Davey Todd.
Todd won last year’s event, but the race itself was canceled due to bad weather, so he won based on qualifying results.
Other notable names in the road racing world include Paul Jordan, who rides for Jackson Racing Honda.
Sam West will campaign for BMW in Macau this year, Michael Evans will drive a Honda and David Johnson will drive a BMW.
Philip Crowe is entered in a BMW along with Michael Sweeney and Rob Hodson on Hondas.
2022 Macau Grand Prix winner Erno Costamo returns in a BMW.
Nine-time Macau winner Michael Rutter is not on the entry list for this year’s event as he continues to recover from injuries following a heavy crash at the TT.
The 2025 Macau Grand Prix will be held from November 13th to 16th.
