PFL 10 Results: Ending Dalton Roster with Brother Leon Edwards, who mimics Fabian Edwards

Fabian Edwards delivered a vicious head kick knockout to complete the Dalton Roster to claim the title of the PFL middleweight tournament in almost the same way that his brother Leon Edwards did at the UFC three years ago.

The conclusion of the PFL 10 main event was that after Edwards handed out a series of inner leg kicks, he finally unleashed a head kick he had never seen the roster come. As soon as Edwards connected, Rosta crashed into the canvas, where he lay motionless for a while, but eventually recovered.

The official halt came at 1:28 in the third round, with Edwards claiming a knockout victory.

Leon Edwards ran into the cage to celebrate with his brothers, but the knockout informed him that he had almost exactly three years on the day he famously pulled away from Kamal Usman’s fifth head kick finish to win the UFC welterweight title in 2022.

The Battle of Leon was dated August 20, 2022, and Fabian’s knockout took place on August 21, 2025.

“It’s a team headshot that’s dead,” Edwards said of the surprising similarity to his finish compared to his brother. “I’m very grateful. I lost my championship fight against Johnny (Eblen) last October. 12 months later, I’m a PFL champion.”

It was an incredible way to close the year after Edwards entered the PFL tournament in hopes of Edwards winning another shot in the championship following his previous two losses to Johnny Eblenne. Edwards made the most of his appearance in the PFL tournament after knocking out former PFL champion Impa Kasanganai in the opening round and punching his ticket to the finals by beating Josh Silveira.

He had to deal with early adversity as Roster was ready to fight and showed a solid game plan in the early rounds, but Edwards ultimately came with a devastating knockout.

After his victory, Edwards stared at new PFL middleweight champion Costellovan Stinis after being upset to beat Eblen in July. These two also have a history of making the decision Van Stinis split into Edwards from the first meeting of 2020.

Now it looks like they’ll meet again. This time, the PFL middleweight title has been raised.

Oleg Popov became the winner of the new PFL heavyweight tournament after an inactive battle

Oleg Popov was only enough to win a split decision victory in his inactive heavyweight title fight against Alexander Romanov.

Popov discovered most of his success in the previous round as he punished Romanov’s lead leg with a kick and flashed boxing in the instant with a solid strike exchange. When that was finished, two judges gave Popov the victory with scores of 49-46 and 49-48, while the third official gave Romanov a battle with a 48-47 scorecard.

Popov nodded and was enough to win the $500,000 award for the 2025 heavyweight title.

Overall, the heavyweights didn’t wear exactly the barn burner, which ultimately corresponds to a slightly sloppy stand-up fight. Popov committed most of his damage with leg kicks, and after Romanov stuck to boxing, he worked with a clinch to punishment from within, scattered with punches and throwing several knees on his body.

Finally, in the fourth round, Romanov rocked Popov and found the opening of a powerful uppercut in which the former UFC heavyweight killed. He began to unload punches with the bundle, but was unable to clear Popov, and the fighter both tried to hold their breath, making him clinch again.

But that final surge wasn’t enough to put Romanov on the judges’ scorecards, but Popov was doing enough to get a nod and claim the heavyweight title.

Antonio Carlos Jr. wins a wild battle to win a light heavyweight title

Antonio Carlos Jr. ended up in a wild battle with Sullivan Courley, but he eventually secured a second rear naked choke submission to win the title of the PFL Light Heavyweight Tournament.

There were multiple knockdowns, upkicks and blood flying across the cage, but Carlos was able to take control following the desperate pace set by the 205-pounder.

Carlos set the tone early with a furious knockdown after he blasted Corey with his right hand that hit the canvas. Rather than trying to steal obedience, Carlos continued to slam on strike, but Cowley survived the barrage of barrage to get up and get up.

A moment later, Carlos let out a jab that began to drip from his nose, with cowley and blood quickly beginning to drip from his nose after already cutting his eyes from the first knockdown.

As Carlos appeared to be approaching a potential finish, Cowley caught him off guard with a punch that placed the Brazilian on the ground. Koury jumped into the canvas to continue his attack, but instead he was clipped with an upkick from Carlos, causing him to fly backwards.

That Wild Exchange finally slowed things down a bit, but it didn’t take long for Carlos to connect with another punch that seemed to wobble Cowley. This shot also opened another cut as Cowley actually wore damage from repeated strikes that Carlos landed.

A accidental head collision and thrusts into the eyes temporarily paused the action in the second round, further exacerbating the damage to Corey’s face. If the round ended, it was entirely possible that the doctors would have stopped Corey from continuing, but Carlos didn’t want to win that way.

Instead, Carlos quickly moved on to his position of locking up a fight to end the naked choke in the rear, securing a takedown and a light heavyweight championship.
