The PFL announced the full fight card for the second event of the first PFL African season, which will be held at Big Top Arena, Carnival City, Johannesburg, South Africa on August 9th. This shows the growing excitement around the new regional MMA league following the organization’s sell-out debut event held earlier this month in Cape Town.

The Johannesburg Card features top featherweight and welterweight fighters from across Africa compete in the first round, aiming to secure a spot in the PFL Africa semi-finals. The main event promises an exciting matchup against Nigerian Patrick Oshmeme. Patrick Osh holds a 6-1 record and faces Guinea’s Mohamed Kamalta (5-2-1). Meanwhile, in the joint main event, Angola’s Shido Boris Esperanca (9-1) will take on Ibrahimane (14-5) of Gambia in a welterweight conflict.
In addition to the headline fight, the lineup includes several other keyboards featuring promising talents such as British Boroyan and Octave Ainda, Sanon Sadek against Yabuna Nukkala and Eaa Adesina. The event also includes alternative battles in both heavy divisions to ensure depth of competition.
