PFL lost one of its own.
On Sunday, the league announced the death of staff member Jeff Brady, who died in Arizona while saving the lives of two children on the river. Brady was a longtime operation manager for Bellator and subsequently PFL, responsible for handling goods, apparel and consumer products.

The news was initially broken by Jeff’s twin brother Greg.
“Today, I have lost my twin brother, my best friend, the other half of me and now my hero,” Greg wrote. “In an incredible act of courage, he saved his life so that two young boys wouldn’t be drowned in our place. We both call them slices of the river below.
“There is no word to describe the pain of losing someone who has been a part of me from the beginning. We shared everything… I shared laughter, struggles, dreams, memories that will last forever.
“If you know him, please respect him by living with the same courage and kindness that he showed every day,” Greg added. “Heaven has won a Viking Angel.”
A large number of fighters took part in the comments to pay tribute to Jeff, including fighters who have never competed in the PFL, including former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
“Amazing,” Woodley wrote. “Once for Jeff! Amazing man. Pathetic dol to your family. Live your legacy for a long time.”
Chris Cyborg, Dakota Diccheva, Patricio and Patricky Pitbull were among many fighters who expressed pathetic dol to Brady and his family.
