Salt was one of the key architects behind the victory of the RCB’s first IPL title. Even the explosive English opener gave the franchise all his time as he helped the franchise into the finals first, returned home for the birth of his first child and returned to India to play in the IPL 2025 Finals.

Surry’s upcoming star Jamie Smith has been called to replace Phil Salt in the three-game T20I series against the West Indies on Riverside ground in Durham starting Friday, June 6th.
In particular, Phil Salt played 13 games with the RCB in IPL 2025, averaging 33.58 and a stunning strike rate of nearly 176 in the ’50s.

Harry Brook is eager to make the mark as England’s T20I captain
Meanwhile, after his remarkable debut as ODI captain, Harry Brook wants to mark as the T20I captain. He is all set to lead a strong 14-member team in the T20I series against the West Indies.
Under Brooke’s captain, England whitewashed the Caribbean side in the ODI Series 3-0 at home. Now, Brooke hopes to make his debut as England’s T20I captain, like ODI, as he is memorable.
The skipper has a T20I team, with experienced campaigners like Jos Butler, Ben Duckett, Adil Rashid and Will Jax with exciting young talents like Rehan Ahmed, Jacob Bethel and Jamie Smith for the home series.

June 6: First T20I at Banks Home Riverside, Durham
June 8: Second T20I at Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol
June 10: Third T20I at Utirita Bowl in Southampton
After the T20I series against the West Indies, England will host India in the five-match Test series, which will begin in Leeds on June 20th.
