The Los Angeles designated right-handed pitcher JP Fayerasen for appointment on Sunday. Once he cleared the exemption, the team sent him completely to Triple A Oklahoma City.
However, Feyereisen refused the full allocation and instead elected the free agency on Tuesday
The have designated Fayalias for their allocations to make space for newly signed rescuer Chris Stratton.

Feyereisen has chosen to exercise his right to enter the free agent market. He had at least three years of working hours and was in full previous work in July 2024, so he was eligible to select a free agency.
Feyereisen signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks this offseason. He made two appearances in Diamondback, with a 9.00 ERA and two strikeouts in two innings.
Arizona ultimately designated Fayeliaire Isen for appointment on April 27th, and Los Angeles was able to claim him from the exemption on May 1st.
Feyereisen spent most of the 2025 season in minor leagues. The 32-year-old made 11 appearances, allowing six runs and notching eight strikeouts in 14 innings.
The were unable to see Feyereizen on his prime as they acquired him a few months before he had shoulder surgery in 2023.
The Tampa Bay Rays traded the Fayelias for the in December 2022. By that February, Los Angeles had placed Fayelias on their 60-day injury list, missing the entire 2023 season.
Before the surgery, Feyereisen held an undefeated 4-0 record, earning his ERA of 0.00 ERA in 2022 through 24.1 innings at Tampa Bay.
Feyereisen also recorded a career-high 55 appearances and 54 strikeouts in 2021.
However, since the surgery, Feyereisen pitched just 13 innings for the in MLB.
Over two seasons, Feyereisen allowed 11 runs, 17 hits and four home runs.
With his stint with the approaching the end, Feyereisen is now available to explore options with other MLB teams.
