Los Angeles ‘ Lily Bar Lewis Garcia is on the injured list for each Bob Knight Gale of MLB Insider. Garcia deals with the adductor-type issues he maintained in the Road series with the Cleveland Guardians last week.

The are adding Noah Davis to the roster as a corresponding move. It has been previously reported that Davis had a locker in the clubhouse. This indicates that the roster move is imminent.
Unfortunately, Garcia will be the 15th pitcher to land in the IL this season. The ‘ bullpen is currently leading the league in the innings, totaling 245.2.
The were offensive in their pursuit of pitching talent last offseason, but injuries drained both the starting rotation and the bullpen.
Garcia will join Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell, Gavin Stone, Emmett Sheehan, River Ryan, Evan Phillips, Blake Torinen, Michael Kopeck, Brasdahl Glatel, Kyle Grove, Michael Grove, Edgard Henriquez, Loki Sasaki and Kilby Yetes. However, it is important to note that both Sasaki and Yates are in IL for 15 days.
Manager Dave Roberts has acknowledged that bullpen use is not a sustainable business model for teams entering the postseason with the depleted spin and overworked bullpen in 2024.
“It seems like a certain person – and I was able to go back to each starter, but you’re still trying to take care of their health… (Be) Beware of the innings where the bullpen is as off as you can and you’re trying to manage leverage and stuff,” Roberts said.
“It’s definitely not, we don’t want to lead the league in the bullpen innings.”
Nevertheless, the lost another bailout at Garcia. The right-hander has a 4.50 ERA with 23 strikeouts and 1.692 whips in 26 innings this season.
Garcia lands in Illinois and arrives a few days after Roberts announced that Evan Phillips will undergo Tommy John’s surgery.
