The Los Angeles have all-star basehand Max Muncie on their Grade 1 oblique stock injured list, manager Dave Roberts announced Friday.
Buddy Kennedy, who has just claimed exemption from the Toronto Blue Jays, is getting revitalized.

Muncie was injured prior to Wednesday’s match against the Los Angeles Angels while working on the pre-game cage. Muncie was tested to report pain on his side and reveal his tension.
Muncie missed at least 10 days on the injured list, and Roberts said it would be weekly. Roberts said it was similar to what Muncie dealt with last season, but more mild. Muncie missed three months last season due to injuries.
“I don’t think anyone thinks the season is over,” Roberts said of Muncie’s new injury.
The ‘ offense has struggled violently without Muncy this season, averaging just 3.47 runs per 3.47 games in 32 games he missed.
Conversely, when Muncie played, the averaged 5.79 runs per game.

Muncie missed just over a month after suffering a knee injury in early July when Chicago White Sox outfielder Michael A. Taylor slipped into his knee. Third baseman of Slugging was able to return earlier than expected, but returned to IL just a week after his return.
Muncie is far from the only position player, as Tommy Edman, Kike Hernandez and Heisen Kim are all out with a variety of injuries.
The will be playing against the Padres on Friday night. This is a game for the Streaking Friers, second in the National League West.
The will need to manage without Muncie in the near future as they aim to return to No. 1 in the NL West and maintain their position in the playoff race within two months to go into the regular season.
