Real Madrid is reportedly planning to approach Arsenal about a potential transfer move for French centre-back William Saliba.
The 24-year-old is one of the best defenders in soccer in the world and has become a very important player for gunners in recent years.
The link to Real Madrid’s Saliba is not new, and Fabrizio Romano has recently discussed his information on the status of his YouTube channel.
Arsenal fans will certainly be concerned about even more uncertainty about Saliba as Fichajes reports Real Madrid is planning a deal.
The Los Blancos tend to target the biggest names of football in the world, and it seems that Saliba will undoubtedly become a pivotal figure for the world’s biggest club.
William Saliba’s transfer situation should not be bothered by Arsenal fans yet
Fans probably still don’t have much to worry about as Saliba has publicly spoken about being happy at Arsenal.
For one thing, France International has signed a contract at Emirates Stadium until 2027, so the club continues to dominate his future for the time being.
A recent post on Romano’s Saliba also suggests that the AFC has relaxed about Madrid’s interests.
“So, what happens at Saliba, the contract will expire in 2027, but Arsenal will have the opportunity to extend it,” Romano said. “Their match point in this story. And Saliba sends a very positive message.
“So we don’t expect Arsenal to entertain Saliba’s Pull in the summer. They absolutely hope that he will be a key part of the project with Arteta and new manager Andrea Berta.”
Saliba was in Arsenal’s starting lineup as he defeated Real Madrid 3-0 in the Champions League this week. Quiet.
