“This is about a long-term renovation of the clubhouse, adding another batting cage and making the clubhouse a more modern clubhouse,” Kasten told Snation’s Doug McCain. “When we first did it 12 years ago, we were on the cutting edge, there was an arms race between teams that were always competing with each other, and it wasn’t cutting edge anymore. It was postponed and that’s great.
“I tell you, I had breakfast with two players this morning and told me I was just as excited as they got their ring. They’ve heard so many great things about it, so they’re really excited to see the clubhouse.”
The players spoke after spending the last week or so in the newly renovated clubhouse.
“It feels like they made space out of nothing, but they did,” Max Muncie said via Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times. “It all feels so much bigger. That’s kind of surprising.”
“That clubhouse was amazing,” Freddie Freeman said.
“Really crazy,” Tyler Glasnow said. “Everything was really amazing.”
The had a season overseas, but when they got home it paid off.
