As reported by The eraNottingham Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs White could be a target for several clubs this summer. Forest doesn’t want to break up with the 25-year-old, but it is understood that Manchester City will lead the race for his signature if the transfer is made possible at a certain price.
Forest, who won the European Champions Cup in 1979 and 1980, is fighting to return to the European elite for next season. He currently sits in fourth with 57 points. Gibbs White has played a major role in an incredibly good campaign. It’s easy to understand that clubs don’t like other ways with such players.
However, with two years remaining in his contract, it may be Forest’s last chance to get Gibbs White’s full market value unless he convinces him to recommend signing a new deal in the near future.
The city has been monitoring Gibbs White since last summer, and is believed to be set to leave Etihad. Their needs have become stronger.
