Aston Villa is reportedly increasingly concerned about Morgan Rogers’ Arsenal going to move, as Crystal Palace’s Ebeki Eze looks at it as an alternative.
That’s what Steve Kay reported on the football relocation, and Villa is said to be aware of Arsenal’s escalating interest in Rogers this summer.
The gunners were certainly able to add a little more spark to Mikel Arteta’s side, along with the attacking midfielder.
Only 22 years old, Rodgers played in both central and sides over the course of the 2024/25 campaign, finishing with an impressive tally of 14 goals and 12 assists in all competitions.
Ebeki Eze could be a great alternative for Morgan Rogers
Obviously, Villa recommends protecting talent like Rogers, but it’s easy to imagine a big club like Arsenal ready to pay him very attractive money right away.
And if England International moves on, the villa can do much worse than snapping Eze from the palace.
The 26-year-old is one of Europe’s most underrated midfielders at the moment, and is certainly good to play on the mid-table side like Palace.
Ebeki Eze will surely be seduced by this Aston Villa project
Eze’s incredible form helped the Eagles win the FA Cup final last season, but he could be seduced by projects like Villa.
Unai Emery has done a very impressive job at Villa Park, with the club narrowly missing out on the Champions League qualifiers for the second season.
It’s easy to imagine that even if the palace is on a decent side, Eze might consider Villa a step up, and he completely slotted into the role Rogers plays for them, as the graphics above shows.
