Otani was originally scheduled to pitch against the San Francisco Giants this weekend, but Otani won’t pitch until the host the Philadelphia Phillies next week.

The two-way star pitched a 3.2 shutout inning against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. That year, he made 12 starts and sported 3.75 ERAs in 36 innings with 49 strikeouts.
As a batsman, Ohtani appeared in 143 games, cutting .280/.391/.609 with 48 home runs, hitting 92 runs with an OPS of 1.001. He is showing off well in the middle of winning the third consecutive MVP award, the fourth in the last five years.
