The Los Angeles placed infielder Heisen Kim on the list injured by left shoulder synovomatitis. Kim has been injured for the past week, but has struggled to hit the ball and will be at least 10 days off to officially take the correct leave.
Top Prospect Alex Freeland has replaced Kim with an active roster and is preparing to make his major league debut when he joins the game.

Kim struggled very hard in his final 10 matches, struggling with 26-4 (.154) with two RBIs and .308 for OPS. He has 12 strikeouts in his final 27 plate appearance.
In May and June, Kim appeared in 37 games, reaching .383 with 8 extra bass hits, 12 RBI and .968 on OPS. He had just 18 strikeouts with an appearance of 87 plates.
Kim rests for a while to heal the injury, but the get the chance to see prospects of their top position player acting.
Freeland, 23, was the ‘ third round pick in the 2023 MLB draft. He’s sprinting through the minor leagues and ready to make his MLB debut this week.
In 94 games at Triple-A this year, he cut .253/.377/.421 with 12 home runs, hitting 71 runs and had an OPS of .799.
Freeland is currently the third prospect on the team per MLB pipeline.
