Welsh’s scrum half-t-Moss Williams was removed from the tour after suffering a hamstring injury. Scotland’s Ben White was invited to the team.
The Reds finished fifth in this year’s Super Rugby Ladder (the Australian team second best after ACT Brumbies), and should bring a tougher test to tourists building for the opening test match on July 19th.
