The New York Knicks lost another close in Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers. Jalen Brunson had a big moment when he missed the unwise pull-up 3.

Jalen Brunson is one of the most trusted superstars in the NBA. He is the main reason behind the New York Knicks’ upswing in the Eastern Conference Finals. He can take any shot, as everyone in the Knicks organization trusts him.

Despite that trust, Branson may have made a mistake when trying to tie the game together with a three-pointer. It would have been a fitting moment for his Clutch Player of the Year award, but he missed it. Miles Turner surrounded the rebound and hit two free throws to seal the 114-109 result.

This shot led to a discussion about how it is a bit wiser. Former NBA player Quentin Richardson made his opinion clear at the sports center.

Branson deserves more credit for the Knicks’ productivity, but he had a bad moment. He scored 36 points to lead the Knicks, but he could have created a better shot opportunity. Richardson feels that way because the Knicks had more time to create an open look.

A few seconds ago, Branson broke the defense with a drive to the hoop. With his physical style, he was able to do it again and draw a foul. The old fashioned way to get three would have been enough, but Branson trusted himself.

Given his reputation as a clutch star, it’s hard to blame him for that shot. However, it is difficult for the Knicks to embrace the rebellious Pacers who will win the first two games of the series.

“It felt like Jalen Branson didn’t do much wrong last night, but I didn’t like the shot, and you can see where he came from.

“It was a pretty deep shot and he didn’t shoot those range 3. They could get better shots on that play, even if it wasn’t for him.”

He averages 39.5 points per game, but Branson will still want to bounce back. The Knicks are close to winning both games, but Pacer has won. Branson wants to improve his performance even if he doesn’t score more than 40 points.

His teammates, Karl Anthony’s town and Mikal Bridges, love the performances of the bounceback. They already know what went wrong, so they keep pushing and continuing to compete.

Games 3 and 4 are in Indianapolis, so the Knicks are played in hostile environments. Branson and Knicks were not able to capitalize at Madison Square Garden. This means they have to prove themselves in a pressure-packed environment.
