Manchester United are thought to be increasingly confident in moving their “very quick” defender signatures for free this summer, according to a new update on Sunday.

The Red Devils’ Premier League season has effectively ended, and it has continued for weeks with a very disappointing performance in the competition.
However, United could save their campaign by winning the Europa League later this month, but there will be a final meeting with Tottenham in Bilbao on May 21st. A man who is confident in signing Jonathan Tah
According to Sunday Mirror (via unite and unite), Manchester United are increasingly confident in signing Bayer Leberkusen centre back Jonathan Tar at the end of this season. The 29-year-old is thought to prefer the idea of testing himself in the Premier League, becoming available for free transfers once his contract expires this summer.
Harry Maguire enjoys good spells and while Renee Yoro looks like a player with huge potential, the new centre-back is a must for United in the summer. Maguire is not younger and flawed in terms of lack of pace, but Lisandro Martinez and Matti de Liguto are prone to injuries.
At TAH, United have a great option, having won Bundesliga for Leverkusen last season, making a total of 400 appearances and earning 35 caps in Germany.
Simon Rolfes, managing director of Leverkusen, has praised him in the past. “He’s a young player with a lot of potential. He’s physically strong and very fast. Everything is possible.”
At 29, he certainly isn’t a United young signature, but he is still the age where he can easily stay around his peak and the next three or four years.
