Rajasthan Royals plays 11 vs Gujarat Titans-IPL 2025, Match 23.
Opener: Sanju Samson (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal
Sanju Samson opens the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal of Rajasthan Royals against CSK. Sanju made a comeback as the team’s regular captain in his final match against SRH, making a fierce start to the team.
Meanwhile, Yashasvi rove as it formed in a stable half-century in matches against SRH, providing a platform for incoming batters to play natural games from the first ball.
Intermediate batters and all-rounders: Riyan Parag, Nitish Rana, Dolph Jurell (WK), Simron Hetmeyer, Wanindu Hasaranaga
The Rajasthan Royals’ middle order slowly regained mojo with experienced batters such as Nitish Rana, Liyan Parag, Dolph Jurell and Simron Hetmeyer.
Riyan Parag, who was the captain of the Rajasthan Royals in the first three matches, increased his pace after not scoring in the first two matches against SRH and KKR, respectively.
Dhruv Jurel has been in abundance of shapes since the start of the tournament. The right-hander was the only shining light when the entire batting lineup was unable to play in the first two matches and continued to score runs in the final five overs in the previous two matches the Rajasthan Royals acquired.
Bowlers: Sandeep Sharma, Jofra Archer Maheesh Theekshana, Yudhveer Singh Charak, Kumar Karttikeya
Like the Royals of the team Batting Rajasthan, they will be elevated in the form of bowlers, especially Jofra Archer, who made a solid comeback after running in the first match and scored a key wicket in the first six overs of RR.
Sandeep Sharma, who had been looking for an off-colour in the first game, also raised his game, suffocating the opposition’s scoring percentage in the mid-over, which put pressure on the batter who scored a key wicket in the final five overs.
The spin division of RR is being handled by two Sri Lankan spinners Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana. The duo’s job became easier as the fast bowlers picked up wickets ahead of time.
