Randorris has been hit hard in the Formula One title race in the third quarter crash in Saudi Arabia

Randorris will start Sunday’s F1 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix below 10th on the grid after crashing in qualifying.

Norris lost control of his McLaren F1 car after a big chunk of the curb in a turn 4-5 sequence.

It’s a big blow for Norris’ chances of a Formula 1 title. That’s a big blow considering his small lead over McLaren’s teammate Oscar Piastri in championship standings.

Norris has stepped into the back this season and admits he has struggled to get used to this year’s car.

He won the Australian Grand Prix in the season opener, but he faced intense pressure from Piastri during the race.

Piastri took the lead in China, and Verstappen returned to Japan’s Grand Prix victory.

Norris endured Bahrain Granpurin, a scattered with errors after finishing sixth on the grid.

This was in stark contrast to Piastri, who controlled the race from pole position.

Until his third quarter crash, Norris appeared to be back in form, taking on the fight to steal his teammates and pole.

Norris never out of Piastri at the Jeddah Cornish Circuit, with the Australian leading the way in 2023 and 2024.

If Norris does not require a chassis change or new engine components after a crash will begin Sunday races from the 10th on the grid.
