Searching for new managers will steal the biggest headline this summer, but the Rangers reportedly look to signing Premier League contract Rebel.
Ranger is still looking for a Clement replacement
After a disastrous campaign with the Scottish Prime Minister, GERS and the next new owner 49ers company must get things right this summer. The last thing they need is to return to Square One this time next year if their initial administrative appointments don’t work. It’s not a job that lacks potential suitors, but gives the ranger some opportunities.

The Rangers will need to move several players to raise funds this summer.
Although names like Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho have been mentioned recently, it is Sean Dish who believes Rangers legend Ally McCoist can change things with Ibrox.
In chat Football FanCustomthe former striker said: “Shawn Dish will be interesting to me. His team has always been very competitive, but especially on his Everton side, it’s always a struggle and battle. I want to see him on a team he is expected to win every week.
“So it’s a job that’s well-required and there’s no shortage of people who want it. Mourinho was clearly there. He’s certainly someone that a lot of Rangers fans are accepting and grateful for, but I think they need to get it right.”
Meanwhile, as that search continues, people at Ibrox are also keeping an eye on the extremely important summer transfer window. Again, it’s something the 49ers have to go right, and again, some targets are reportedly already appearing.
Rangers are chasing the Delhi deal
According to soccer insider Pete O’Rourke, the Rangers are now chasing a bargain deal to sign Jesse Delhi after the 17-year-old refused the opportunity to sign a professional contract at Crystal Palace.
Delhi, which has sparked interest from around Europe, is reportedly open to travel abroad, and will still have the opportunity to complete a move to Ibrox and their old company rival Celtic this summer. The club must pay compensation, but the price of that transaction should be much cheaper than Winger wrote a professional transaction at Selhurst Park.
Given his goals at the youth level this season, there’s no doubt that the Eagles will lose their upstart. Delhi has scored nine goals in eight Under-18 Premier League matches this season, and can only continue that record if he joins the Rangers.
On the other hand, economically speaking, it would make perfect sense for rangers to welcome players who are rising rather than more established names. Selling future stars for commercial purposes before they sell is what makes GERS success in and out of the pitch.
