The NBA team at the bottom edge of the totem pole this season is pleased to be there as it is widely believed that the Cooper Flag will give generational outlook in the draft.
Cooper Flag set up a pulse race in all-around play this season.
As his teammates fly under the radar, he has devoted a lot of media coverage to him, and according to draft expert Jonathan Gibbonney, he will become an “absolute star” for the NBA.
His early comparison with Klay Thompson as the ceiling certainly isn’t a bad starting point!
Klay Thompson may be heading for an NBA career that doesn’t get the right ending, but his peak has been as breathtaking as previous players.
At his peak he was a two-way threat and the supercharged, overqualified “three” player who formed the most exciting duo in NBA history with Steph Curry.
If that’s where Givony is moving forward with the ceiling of Duke Blue Devils, then it’s time to get serious between him and Flagg and split the media coverage.
Speaking about ESPN’s Hoop Collective, draft expert Givony raves about Knoupel’s qualifications and negates concerns about him in the NBA circle.
He states:
“He’s a great shooter, but he was basically playing PG at a few points.
He is physical and competitive. I have zero concerns about defense and he is always in the right place. I think Kon Knuppels will become a massive NBA player, like Klay Thompson. ”
Knueppel goes under the radar this season, predicting that most mock drafts will be drafted into the lottery, but around the top 10 selection.
Because it is the longest to teach.
His basketball IQ is off the charts and his ability to make the right decisions for the team stands out.
Still, he plays about 30 minutes per game with the stacked Duke team while averaging 14.4 points, 4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
Flag may even be a generational talent, but Knupel isn’t too late in terms of being a ready-made contributor and an instant plug-and-play player on the NBA team.
