Manchester United are on the clear summer weather, and one of the players who are almost certain to leave is Christian Eriksen, ready to end the disappointing three-year spell at Old Trafford.

Eriksen joined Man United as a free agent in the summer of 2022 after an impressive season at Brentford, but overall, he had no trouble making any significant impact.

Under new head coach Reuben Amorim, this is also true, and so it appears that the summer departure is on the verge of a close call.

Eriksen is rumoured to be one of six United players who are actively sought to leave during the summer transfer period, and the Danish midfielder has made it easier.

Eriksen made it clear that he intends to continue his career from Man United while speaking to the media on international duties with Denmark (via Marca).

“I’m ready to find something new. What is that? That’s not something I’ve decided yet.”

Eriksen should not run out of offers in the summer despite his Trouble Man United spell. He is unable to play in Serie A due to his pacemaker fitted after cardiac arrest during the Euro 2020, but the move to Laliga shows interest early in the campaign.

Similarly, Eriksen was able to search for a return to his hometown of Denmark, but given that he is 33, he was able to get another chance at the top of European football before he began thinking about his final year in professional matches.
