Real Madrid are reportedly willing to pay up to €100 million to ensure they win the transfer race for Juventus attacking midfielder Kenan Yildiz.
The Turkish international shined during his time in Serie A and has now established himself as one of the best young players in Europe.
As previously reported, Yildiz has attracted the attention of top clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United, but it now appears that Real Madrid are also increasing their interest.
According to Fichajes, Los Blancos are willing to pay up to 100 million euros to bring Yildiz to the Bernabéu, showing that they are serious about making a deal for him.
Kenan Yildiz has a long list of transfer applicants
It is clear that there will be no shortage of suitors if Yildiz were to leave Juve anytime soon, but Fiharges has revealed that the Italian giants are keen to keep hold of the 20-year-old.
Yildiz clearly won’t be cheap, so it will be interesting to see who has the most access to the huge amount of money needed to get a deal done.
Real Madrid have traditionally spent big on ‘galactico’ contracts with the world’s best players, but their approach has changed somewhat in recent years.
While the Spanish giants still have elite names on their books such as Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham, they have also placed an emphasis on acquiring the best young players before they become superstars, a policy that has worked well for players such as Vinicius Junior, Federico Valverde and Franco Mastantuono.
Will we see Kenan Yildiz in the Premier League?
A move to England could be a good idea for Yildiz as he is likely to have a good opportunity to develop at a club like Chelsea.
The Blues have built their squad around elite young players and have recently spent big on the likes of Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandes, Joao Pedro, Estebao Willian, Jamie Gittens and Jorel Hato, making them key first-team players.
Yildiz could be tempted by the likes of Arsenal, as Mikel Arteta has turned the north London side into a serious and ambitious side once again, developing almost every player he has worked with.
It could be interesting as Man United are also looking to return to the top flight, but it may be seen as more of a gamble now that so many promising players have had their careers set back there.
