Liverpool is reportedly open to let Harvey Elliott go this summer, which appears to have sparked interest from several Premier League clubs.
The Reds have never seen Elliott’s best in his time at Anfield, despite arriving with a reputation as truly strange when he first joined from former club Fulham.
Currently, Fulham appears to be interested in re-signing Elliott, but the most keen interest appears to come from the wolves.
That’s according to a Give Me Sport report that says it wants to bolster discussions about Elliot’s potential deal, which could cost around £50 million.
Liverpool fans will have mixed feelings about Harvey Elliott’s move
Elliott is still young and can have a great career at Anfield if he has the opportunity to start the game.
Still, it appears that LFC is ready to cash at age 22, and he may feel that he would be better off trying new challenges at this point in his career.
Arne Slot previously described Elliot as a person of “quality,” but according to Athletic, actions speak more eloquent than words, and Dutch tacticians have not used the youth much this season.
Harvey Elliott sales could be useful for Liverpool
If Elliot continues to shine elsewhere, there is also a decent debate to try and raise money for the transfer right now, even if Liverpool may live to regret it.
If Liverpool can get nearly £50 million for Elliott, that could be spent strengthening in other regions of the slot team.
Note that the Merseyside giants are linked to Florian Wirtz.
