Real Madrid is reportedly afraid Antonio Rudiger will be banned from facing Arsenal after his actions at the victory celebration at Atletico Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team went a little luck past Atletico in the 16th round to set up the quarterfinals with Arsenal.
Gunners will host Los Blancos at Emirates Stadium for their first leg next Tuesday night, and there appears to be concerns about Rudiger’s eligibility.
According to Marca, the real fear of being punished in the way Rudiger celebrated against Atletico means he could be given a one-game ban.
Marca reports that the verdict will be confirmed on Friday, so hopefully there will be good news about Ancelotti’s key player, Germany International.
Antonio L Digger’s absence may be much needed good news for Arsenal
Arsenal has had a bit of a nightmare with injuries this season, and Bukayosaka has missed a big chunk of the campaign, but others like Kaihaberts, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegard have also come to the point.
As confirmed by Arsenal.com today, there is also bad news for Gabriel Magalges. He won’t play again this season after going out with hamstring issues with Philham’s victory.
So, if Real has to play without Rudiger, it can level things a little and make it a little fun tie.
Mikel Arteta’s side has in them that it causes upsets, but there’s no doubt that Madrid’s rulers will become a big favorite to advance to the semi-finals.
Arsenal has never won the Champions League and only played in one final play, but he will use this opportunity to try and make up for the Premier League campaign that disappoints this term.
