Arsenal has Martin Zubimendi as one of their preferred target targets for the summer transfer period, but they risk losing him to Real Madrid. Real Madrid arranges to sign the real Sociedaddo and Spanish midfielders.
Zubimendi is a player Arsenal is eager to sign, and in recent weeks they have arranged for the possibility of arriving in North London during the summer transfer period. They have been considered the favorite to sign him before many other clubs, but now that Real Madrid has entered the scene, things look shaky.
Real Madrid is keen on Zubimendi to replace Toni Cruz, who left the club last summer after announcing his retirement last summer. La Liga Giants are looking for a signature in 2025 due to problems mid-season.
Real Madrid lays the foundation for the Martin Zubimendi contract
As COPE reported, Real Madrid is strengthening its interest in Zubimendi, and is said to be approaching a 26-year-old contract available with a £50 million release clause for the 26-year-old contract.
Real Madrid is said to be operating Zubimendi “on the right track” and the above prices will be very affordable for La Liga and European champions who may be busy in the summer planned for Premier League duo Trent Alexander Arnold and Dean Huizen in the summer.
Arsenal will find it difficult to face Real Madrid in the Battle of Zubimendi, but the fact that head coach Mikel Arteta is also from San Sebastian and is a former real Sociedad player, can play in their favour. But it may not be as important as the gunners would like it to be.
