Real Madrid is reportedly interested in Chelsea’s growing interest in signing Bournemouth defender Dean Huyssen early this summer.
Bruce appears to be determined to win the Huyssen race along with manager Enzo Maresca, who wants to turn the talented Young Spain International from the door to international by June 14th.
This will allow Chelsea to use Fuizen at the Club World Cup. According to AS, the West London Giants are ready to complete the transaction by triggering his 60 million euro release clause.
Still, Real Madrid is also enthusiastic about Huizen, and concerns appear to be growing over the 20-year-old Chelsea pursuit.
Additionally, the Spanish Football Federation claims they are concerned about this particular Chelsea news because they want Huizen to be available to under the age of 21, instead of going to the Club World Cup.
Chelsea is seriously considering signing Dean Huyssen
Huijsen is so impressive for Bournemouth that it’s not so surprising that Chelsea and many other big clubs have been linking with him these days.
David Ornstein also reports that he is passionate about Huygen for Liverpool and Arsenal, but Chelsea appears to be more and more connected.
The CFC certainly need a good transfer window after a slightly overwhelming season. Huygen certainly has clear upgrades like Levi Colwill, Tosin Adalabioyo, Benoit Badiaser and Trevo Charova, but Wesley Fofana was extremely injured at Stamford Bridge.
Does Chelsea need another young player like Dean Huyssen?
Chelsea focuses on signing the world’s best young player under this current ownership, and Huyssen looks like a logical fit.
Still, will Bruce actually do well to bring in people with more experience this summer?
Thiago Silva has been overlooked since his departure. Even if Huijsen is a great player, those with more experience and leadership qualities would be suitable to support this youthful team.
