Leeds United are looking for a new offensive midfielder during the summer transfer period.
Whites who have been promoted to the Premier League are aiming to add firepower to their teams to address the challenges of top-flight soccer.
They already have Brenden Arsonson in that position, but his performance was inconsistent in the second half of the season last season, but he wasn’t impressed.
Middlesbrough star Fin Azaz has linked his move to Elland Road this summer, with the midfielder expressing his desire to play in the Premier League.
Leeds United Target has ambitions to play in the Premier League
The whites haven’t made the move for him yet, but his latest comments would encourage him to step up the tracking of midfielders who want to play Premier League football.
“Of course, we’re signing a deal with Boro. We’re focusing on the preseason at this point.” I’m really happy with the club. I had a great year. I have a lot of respect for everyone at the club and that was amazing to me. ” He said he spoke to the Irish sun.
“I personally had a great season so obviously I want to continue developing. My ambition is to play at the highest level. Whether it’s in the Premier League or going abroad, I want to play at the highest level.
“I fully know that Irish teams have a lot of Premier League players. We’re watching the World Cup Qualifiers and World Cup next summer.” He added.
Fark is looking for a new attack midfielder
Manager Daniel Fark has kept his options open for now as he is navigating the transfer market for new additions to his team.
Aston Villa midfielder Emiliano Buendia is one of the names Fark is targeting this summer.
The midfielder is no longer part of Unai Emery’s future plans at Villa Park, and his past experience with Fark was able to open the door to travel to Elland Road this summer.
Leeds sees them not repeating the same mistakes they did last time when their team lacked depth in the last Premier League and ultimately became the reason behind their relegation.
The UCL winner will not only integrate Leeds into his transfer priorities, but also consider other PL clubs
