Paris Saint-Germain star Kvicha Kvaratzkeria was chosen to praise Arsenal’s “unrelenting” pursuit with Bukayo Saka.
Saka didn’t have the best game for Arsenal in either leg of the Champions League semi-finals.
Most of this was due to Kvaratskhelia and his efforts in tracking down the Buck and supporting his defense.
Georgia International is a great flare player who will provide a threat to skill and goals in the future, but it’s clear he wants to put hard yards on his team as well.
Key to PSG’s tactics against Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Bukayo Saka
See below as Telegraph’s Sam Dean picked up Kvaratskhelia to praise Saka for keeping him quiet…
Saka still managed to make an impact in Game 2, gaining Arsenal’s goal of comfort and striving to be saved by Genluigi Donnaruma.
England International also missed a big opportunity, but I imagine that if PSG hadn’t relentlessly doubled it, they could have done more in both games.
Arsenal looks like they missed Kvicha Kvaratzkeria
It is a bit surprising that Kvaratskhelia was unable to make a transfer fight for him without moving from Naples in the middle of the season.
Arsenal may have certainly benefited from such a hard-working offensive player. Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Torosad are pretty inconsistent and overwhelming throughout the season.
After discussing Kvaratskhelia and Arsenal recently, columnist Charles Watts said:
“Arsenal was supposed to be everywhere he was at the time and I said nothing changed my mind about it.
“I love watching him. The way he plays, the way he likes to run at fullback. He’s just a proper winger and a player who grabs your foot every time he gets the ball.”
