West Ham United is tied to Leicester City goalkeeper Muds Hermansen’s move.
Leicester has been demoted to the championship, allowing the goalkeeper to aim for movement this summer. Ideally he tries to compete at the highest level and moves to the Premier League.
West Ham needs more quality and depth in its goalkeeping division, and Hermansen could prove to be an ideal acquisition. He proved his quality in the Premier League with Fox last season, and he certainly is enough for the Hammer.
Hammer requires an upgrade
Alphonse Adeola was extremely overwhelming last season, with an ideal increase in competition for locations. Signing Hermansen not only adds more quality and depth to the sides, but also forces players like Adeola to be under pressure and increase their performance levels.
“Mads Hermansen could be on his way to West Ham,” journalist Gianluca di Marco corrected in TipsBladet.
“The club (West Ham, I mean!) really likes him, and that might be a good opportunity for him. I don’t think he’ll stay in Leicester, and I think West Ham is the right option for him.”
West Ham can use Mads Hermansen
It will be interesting to see if the hammer moves forward with the offer to sign players. The fox doesn’t want to lose him cheaply, so they try to retrieve as much as possible for the players.
Meanwhile, West Ham had a disappointing season last year, and they aim to bounce back hard. They will need to sign a quality player next year. Signing trustworthy goalkeepers must be one of their priorities.
They should also consider improving attack units. They look too invisible in the attack, and signing a trustworthy striker should be on their agenda.
