Chelsea are keen to secure Zabi Simons’ service from RB Leipzig this summer, but they will need to first free up space for their teams.
According to Bild, the Dutch International will cost £60 million this summer, and Chelsea will need to stoop players like Christopher Nekunk, Kearny Chuk Emeca and Armando Bruja before signing the 22-year-old.
Will Chelsea be able to get a Xavi Simons contract across the line?
Chelsea have yet to file an official offer to players despite having broad agreement on potential moves. It is still unclear whether they will be able to remove the fringe players and get a transfer across the line. The 22-year-old was a standout in Germany last season, and Simons proved to be a great addition to Chelsea.
He can be slotted into 10 roles and 10 roles as well as the sides. He opens up defense with his talent, overtaking and vision. He also asks to find the back of a consistent net. Simons scored 11 goals and scored eight assists last season.
Chelsea needs someone like Simons
Chelsea relies too much on Cole Palmer for goals and creativity. He needs more support in the offense and signing the highly talented Dutch International is a wise decision. He is now considered one of the best young offensive talents in European football and has managed to develop into a key player for Chelsea.
The opportunity to move into the Premier League is exciting for young attackers as well. He was able to test himself at a higher level, and British regular football was able to help him grow even further.
Chelsea have done well in the past to groom young players and have been able to help him realize his world-class potential.
