Arsenal is working on a contract to sign Chelsea attacker Noni Maduce during the summer transfer period.
According to a report from Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal aims to bring in a multi-purpose attacker who can cover Bukayosaka and slots into multiple offensive roles. They identified Chelsea players as a potential option.
Consultations are underway regarding this move
The report claims that the two clubs are currently working on a deal, and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.
Madueke scored 11 goals for Chelsea last season, but he is not an important player for Enzo Maresca. He may not be a regular starter for them next season. It would make sense for him to move on.
Can Arsenal convince Noni Madueke?
It would be interesting to see if he is willing to join Arsenal. He’s unlikely to become a regular starter for them. He is likely a backup option for Saka, but as Gabriel Martinelli continues to remove overwhelming performance, he was able to force his way into the starting lineup. The Brazilian wasn’t at his best last season, and his final product was pretty mediocre.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has signed Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Alizabaraga, who has already completed his medicine. Apparently they are hoping to sign a second player from Chelsea this summer. It will be interesting to see if both clubs can finalize the agreement.
Chelsea also needs more quality and depth on the sides. Maduke’s sales may bring money to strengthen their team.
The Chelsea attacker is only 23 years old and has been able to improve with coaching and experience. Arsenal may be able to bring out the best of him and help him grow even further. Mikel Arteta was doing well to groom Arsenal’s talented young attackers, and he was able to play a role in the development of English attackers.
