Arsenal is already aiming to remove some of the players when the transfer window reopens in January, with people like Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Torosad in the chopping block.
According to a report by Football Insider, the two players could be sold in January if they can’t contain their regular starting spot. Arsenal spent a considerable amount of money during the summer window, resulting in multiple attack signatures.
It would be fair to assume that Jesus and Torosad are likely to struggle due to regular game time in the coming months. It makes sense for Arsenal to move them. Both players pay a significant amount of wages and removing them is financially ideal for the club.
Will Arsenal be able to accommodate Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Torosad?
It will be interesting to see if two players can convince Mikel Arteta to give him plenty of opportunity in the coming months. There is no doubt that they have the quality to compete at the highest level and play for the biggest clubs. They have proven to be quality players in the past. Jesus was extremely important to Manchester City during his time with the club, and Torosard was a very useful player for Arsenal last season.
Trosad and Jesus should move on
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Two players don’t want to sit on the bench regularly. If Arsenal can’t provide them with the opportunity they need, they should consider moving on in January. They are at the peak of their careers and sitting on the bench of a Premier League club is harmful to them.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to secure a proper offer for the two players in January.
